EDP Renewables, Vestas and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy have joined forces to launch a campaign aimed at raising awareness of the benefits of renewable energy. June 24, 2019 marks the start of the campaign, under the slogan “Renew Your Way of Thinking,” which seeks to boost public perception of the benefits of renewable energy in general, and especially wind energy.

This is a far-reaching digital campaign aimed specifically at millennials. Geared toward virality and entertainment, it combines clever videos, GIFs and landing pages with real and informative arguments about the competitive edge of this energy source, its contribution to the environment and the benefits it provides to local economies, among other messages.

More than 20 companies in the renewable energy sector, as well as several industry associations, will take part in this fun campaign to create a “wind of change” for all. It will be launched simultaneously in five countries (Spain, Portugal, France, Brazil and Italy) via profiles on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, from which users will be directed to the campaign landing page.
